Spark Vellum deals in the printed record of the machines people love: the rare books, manuals, brochures, posters, parts catalogues, and ephemera that hold the history of motorcycles and cars. Most of this material has spent decades scattered across back rooms and forgotten shelves, treated as stock rather than culture. We treat it as culture.
Spark Vellum grew out of a lifetime of collecting, of gathering not only cars and motorcycles but everything that surrounds them, the literature that documents and celebrates the machines and the people who built them. That passion became a conviction: this world deserved a home built to its own standard, curated, considered, and online, where collectors anywhere can find the genuine article.
At Automobilia Collectors Expo, we are focusing on the history and iconography of American cars and motorcycles, as well as the culture and people that built, collect, and love them.
